Grey – how to combine?
No matter which shade of grey you choose, the simple colour is a perfect match for loads of fashion accessories and other colours. The neutral shade gets along well with any type of colour. A real classic in combination with a grey dress are for example red Mary Janes or elegant red patent leather court shoes. A splash of colour like that already turns the outfit into a real eye-catcher, but if you want to combine some more accessories, please stick to one colour, e.g. red leather gloves. In contrast to that, you will create a clean and very pure look, if you combine your grey dress with colours like white, eggshell or other shades of grey. Nothing looks more elegant!
Milan, Rome and Naples show us how it works: if you are looking for typically Italian grandeur, combine a grey piece of clothing with beige, e.g. a light poncho or a fine leather shopper bag. That’s how the rather cool and minimalistic grey look becomes a bit warmer and friendlier, without losing any of its elegance. If you want to add some colour to your discreet grey, you’d better choose some pastel colours instead of flashy ones (except red). The complete range of pastel colours looks simply perfect with grey and can be combined any way you want, without spoiling the tidy impression of the look.
