A small outfit guide for wedding guests.
Being a guest at a wedding, there are a few things to remember when it comes to the right choice of clothes. Most importantly: the bride is the star and she is the only person wearing white! The one and only exception is if there was an explicit request in the invitation and the wedding celebration is a so-called “white party”; only in this case may the wedding guests wear the colour of the bride. In all other cases, even on hot summer days, you should avoid white clothing by all means! White accessories, however, like shoes or a bag, are absolutely fine. If the wedding ceremony is in a church it is apt to cover your shoulders. So, if you are wearing a strapless dress or a dress with spaghetti straps, don’t forget a matching scarf or a bolero jacket. Also a dress that is too sexy, e.g. with an exceptionally low neckline or a very tight corsage are outfits that you can do without at a wedding.
