Ajour - mon amour!

The term ajour comes from the French and means something like "openwork" or "opening". In the fashion sector, it refers to a specific knitting or crochet pattern in which holes or open areas are created in the knitted fabric to achieve a delicate and openwork appearance. The fine hole pattern in textiles is created according to manufacturing instructions.
