A great appearance – a great bridesmaid’s dress.
bridesmaid-tradition at a wedding stems from a very old heathen custom.
Originally, one or many bridesmaids were supposed to puzzle evil spirits by
resembling the bride in height, stature and wearing a bridesmaid’s dress
similar to the bride’s dress. Thus, the spirits cannot recognize the real bride
and the newly-wed lady is safe from any spiritual danger, according to the
belief. Today, evil spirits are hardly the topic anymore when it comes to weddings;the old custom of having a bridesmaid however, has survived over the years. Of
course, the role of the bridesmaid from being a “ghostbuster” to being the
bride’s most important assistant during the celebration has crucially changed.
The bridesmaid – the right hand of the bride.
During the wedding the bridesmaid is
responsible for carrying the train (if necessary). Furthermore she is holding
the bridal bouquet during the ceremony and she scatters flowers after the
marriage. The US-American custom of having more than one bridesmaid is

of the bride there are also some general rules concerning the bridesmaid’s
Remember: Don’t wear anything white & adjust your accessories!
for an awesome bridesmaid’s dress, you should pay heed that the style of the
bridesmaid’s dress resembles the style of the bride’s dress, e.g. the same
fabric, cut etc. But: The only person wearing white at a wedding is the bride!
Bridesmaids should by all means follow this rule and choose pastel colours like
a tender violet or a soft apricot for their dresses. Of course it’s possible to
wear a shared, visible accessory as a sign of friendship. Thus, the bride and
the bridesmaid can wear the same fascinators, the same gold jewellery or the
same waist band. Here, you can be heavenly creative; you have all the
possibilities in the world! If there is
more than one bridesmaid, the girls should synchronise their individual styles. The dresses by Ana Alcazar play more than a perfect part as a bridesmaid’s
dress. Every collection has a wide range of dresses with similar cuts made from
identical material of outstanding quality. So, it is possible that the one
bridesmaid is wearing a knee-length shift dress in size 12, while the
other one is wearing a figure-flattering A-line dress in size 16 and
both can be instantly recognised as bridesmaids because of their dresses from
the same line.
