Combine purple with other colours – this is how it works!
Purple works great with all bright colours, whether bright radiant colours or pastel spring tones. If you want to combine purple with other colours, however, you should do this with finesse.
►Purple and white
The combination of purple and white always works and is a classic combination for spring. However, when these two colours are solely combined, things can get boring quickly – so spice up this combination with a few flashy pieces, for example, in red, turquoise or yellow.
►Purple and brown
Classics. Purple and brown work well together and are a popular combination for autumn, but again it depends on the individual shades of colour: warm and dark purple looks particularly beautiful with brown, so wear, for example, an aubergine-coloured jumper with a brown tweed coat.
► Purple and black
It gets mystical here! Purple and black is the classic Goth combination and requires a lot of finesse, so that this combination does not relate to the emo scene. Basically, both colours fit together perfectly, but you should not exaggerate with them. A safe combination is pastel purple like lavender or lilac tones and black!
► Purple and grey
Difficult. The combination of violet or purple and grey can quickly appear extremely boring, especially if both tones have a rather cool undertone.
► Lilac and red
A particularly beautiful, albeit unusual, colour combination is created from pastel purple and strong red shades. The combination of delicate lilac and red works perfectly and makes both colours really shine out. So you can wear a purple dress with bright red accessories or a beautiful red blazer with a purple dress.
